Wassup folkz, I get questions all the time about what im using to make my music and really its not what u think. I am mainly a software man, I use whateva I can to get tha job done. For production I use fl8, reason, or reaper with madd vst plugins. I like plugins because its like having individual keyboards without having them taking up all my space or money! I also use pro tools or Samplitude for recording. I like keyboards but I like to be mobile so I use a korg padkontrol and a maudio midi controller. I am looking at getting a miko (hopefully before i get a grey head)along with a hot synth but still I like to be mobile. I have a 500gb hard drive loaded with samples and a 300gb that I use for film(I shoot videos also). But I always try to use something live in my tracks even if its just pennies in a jar for my hi hats or me slamming a door to add a effect to a kick. All n all just be creative and work on listening skills because you could have a studio filled with all the hottest equipment in the world but if dont have a ear for this you will just be making beats for your listening pleasure!!!
